Education: The Hewitt School (9th grade – present)
Experience: 2 years Gospel Choir, Church Music Team from 2005 to present.
Singing Lessons with Gary Scott: 3 years
Maiken was born in Hawaii and as missionaries moved with her family to Japan.
She has been living there for 15 years now.
She started signing at the age of 9 and ever since has had a love for music. Maiken received her first training at the age of 13. She joined the Gospel Choir and music team, as a soprano in Yokohama Grace Bible Church. After 2 years in the choir, Gary Scott approached her about taking private singing lessons. From 2005 to the present she continues to train with him.

Maiken’s love and passion for singing has become a big part of her life. She hopes one day to share that with people all over the world.
